Rules

We operate a ZERO TOLERANCE policy. You will be asked to leave immediately and banned if you break ANY of the following rules. You will not get a second chance.

We do NOT allow NON anglers to visit, or walk around the lake. This is for security and also to ensure all anglers are undisturbed when fishing.

  • All vans and vehicles with blacked out windows may be searched at random.
  • Between March and October, two (2) rods are allowed.
  • Between November and February, three (3) rods are allowed.
  • All children under the age of 16 to be accompanied by an adult.
  • Gatees will be locked each night. 
  • All fish over 25lb to be reported.
  • No Braided main lines.
  • No leadcore.
  • Barbless Hooks only
  • Radios allowed but must be kept down to a minimum and not be heard from neighbouring swims.
  • No fires
  • No pets
  • No boats allowed including bait boats.
  • No litter whatsoever. Please take it home with you.
  • No Alcohol.
  • No fixed rigs. Running rigs preferred, but lead clips allowed if used properly.
  • Prepared nuts allowed in moderation.
  • Unhooking mats must be used and of an adequate size to handle large carp.
  • Nets to be dipped before fishing.
  • No carp sacks allowed on site.
  • Strictly NO wading under ANY circumstances. The lake bed is very unstable and this is for your own safety.
  • You may be asked to reel in at any time in order for your rigs to be checked.
  • You must always be within 10 metres of your rods, and never leave them unattended.
  • Please be considerate towards other anglers at all times.
  • You must be in possession of a valid EA rod licence.
